Clammy feeling, on Birth Control Pills

I’m 28 and about 4 months ago I started to get this clammy feeling. It starts mostly when I get out of the shower and lasts for hours. I will be sweaty during this period also. I am clammy around my mid section, back of neck and just have this “icky” feeling when this happens which is almost everyday. It is getting so bad lately. I am on tri-sprintec (birth control) and prilosec

Your symptoms, despite being unpleasant, are also very common as well as unspecific. Thus, without physical examination and some laboratory tests it is not up to me to try to determine the specific cause of your symptoms. Generally speaking, clammy feeling may, for example, have a connection with blood pressure, blood glucose levels or hormonal changes. Therefore, you should talk to your doctor about your symptoms. Further, try to think if your symptoms started shortly after you started either of your medications and also discuss this with your doctor.
