Blood Clot in Brain, now Fatigue and Weakness

My father who is 55,undergone a surgery for blood clot in brain almost a year back (it was a very sudden operation).Operation was very successful and he recovered within 15 days.During this operation we came to know, that he had High blood pressure and Sugar(diabetics) too (may be they where from longtime ,but we did’nt tested them). Now he is on his daily routine work, but often complains lot of weakness and fatigue. What can be the reason for this?
His most recent blood pressure was ‘70-110′ and sugar 106 for fasting

Dr. Joshua’s Answer:

I’m glad he recovered so well. Weakness and fatigue are such general symptoms that can be caused by any number of diseases, diet problems, lack of sleep, depression and so on — unfortunately I can’t give you a specific answer. The symptoms may or may not be related to the previously suffered stroke. However, I suggest you contact your father’s primary care physician and see if you can make an appointment to discuss the symptoms.
