I have an 8 year old son who has a small lump on his right bicep. He is playing tackle football and there was a small bruise above the lump. However, there is no pain associated with the lump. Could this be a sign of cancer? I have made a Dr. appointment for him on Monday but I am having a hard time dealing with the thought that this could be a sign of cancer. Will you please let me know what you think?

I’m happy that you have an appointment with the doctor, and let’s just wait and see what his doctor says. In the meantime, try not to worry about this too much - it’s highly unlikely to be cancer, and is more likely to be related to the bruise.
