I have a lump on my forehead, 2 inches above my right eye. There’s no pain or discoloration. It appeared suddenly about 2 weeks ago, and hasn’t changed since. I’ve had no fall or head injury. The bump is about the size of a medium green pea. I’ve found very little on line to assist me in deciding if I need to do anything about it. I am not overly distressed about it, mainly just curious. I am a 50yr healthy female
PS: The lump is not movable, as in the descriptions I’ve read of sebaceous cysts. It feels as though it is attached to/on the bone.
Dr. Joshua’s Answer:
I recommend that you visit the doctor and have it looked at. Without examining you physically, I can’t say what it is. However, a firm lump is reason enough to pay the doctor a visit.
