I have been expereincing unusual body happenings for the past month now. There is light red blood my stool, sometimes it is a bigger amount and sometimes it is a smaller amount. I also have sharp pains in the abdomen sometimes, seems like in various places, but mostly in my lower right side. I eat normaly, jus like i have all my life i keep the same eating habit and i get enough fluids. I dont drink and i dont smoke. I get enough fluids, and i eat alot of vegatables and meats everything i do need, but i do eat junkfood too. I dont play a sport right now its offseason for me, but i usualy do play sports. So im active, but not as active as i was a few months ago. Im 18 years of age, female, and i am not pregnant lol . . I hope you could help me determine what is going on becuase im not sure

The most common reason for bright red blood in stool is hemorrhoids, another possibility is anal fissure. However, other causes exist, and before the diagnosis can be made, a doctor’s physical examination is needed, especially as you report abdominal pains. It’s not likely to be anything serious, but I recommend that you see a doctor about this.
