White vaginal discharge, yeast infection or normal?

I have researched the STDs and yeast infections and I think that this is a yeast infection.

The only symptom that I have is a white discharge. It is not alot but it is there. There is no odor, no burning no itching. The symptoms for the STDs are not matching what I have. I have treated it with the one day treatment for yeast infections but it came back again.

What are your reommendations? Should I try the 3- day treatment? And if it is a yeast infection why can”t I get rid of it with the treatment for one day? Is it something else?

?

Some white discharge is normal.

Yeast infection is normally associated with intense itching and lumpy, white, cottage-cheese-like discharge.

Bacterial infection (vaginosis) is usually associated with foul odor.

If you are in doubt, I would have to recommend a clinical examination, gynecological examination possibly combined with STD tests.

After that, it would be safe to take another treatment for yeast infection, I recommend combining it with a course of local antibiotic for bacterial vaginosis, even if your symptoms are not typical of either of these, the treatments are safe enough to justify a trial.
