Ovarian Teratoma - Surgery
I have just found out that I have an ovarian teratoma that is ~11.29cm. Over the weekend, it’s gotten to where it almost constantly hurts or is at least uncomfortable, and I started spotting. My last period was just a week and a half ago and I have never spotted before. Do you think I should be concerned. I’m having it removed in a couple of weeks

Dr. Joshua’s Answer:

It’s great that you’re having it removed so soon. Ovarian teratomas are almost always bening (harmless, not life or health threatening) and surgery results in complete cure in most cases. Good luck!?
