I have a terrible constant ring in my ears. I have been to an ENT and he prescribed Lasix that did not help. I have type II diabetes. When this all started I was walking on a treadmill and it felt like waterwent in my left ear. After that I was dizzy upon rising and have bad headaches. 6 weeks before that I had a complete hysterectomy.

Your ENT specialist probably had Meniere’s disease in mind when he prescribed Lasix. I agree that you have classic symptoms of the acute onset of Meniere disease. A complete clinical neuro examination is always advised (your family doctor can do this), because stroke needs to be ruled out. Drugs such as prochlorperazine and promethazine may be helfpful for the vertigo/dizziness, and diuretics such as hydrochlortiazide and acetazolamide may be worth trying. After the acute phase, the symptoms tend to ease, and your primary care physician can handle the follow-up.
