Xanthelasma, high cholesterol
I have white pockets of cholesterol build up on my eyelids. Is there away to get rid of these other than with laser surgery.
?
Dr. Joshua’s Answer:
They are called xanthelasma and can be a sign of high cholesterol. They may reappear even after surgical removal. You definitely need to have your blood lipids measured, and possible underlying hyperlipidemia/hypercholesterolemia treated.?
