?

Dr. Joshua’s Answer:

It sounds like there may be some anatomic problem (structural) with her feet. Does she have flat feet (pes planus)? Does exertion/walking/running aggravate the pain? A clinical examination is crucial here, with limb measurement. X-rays may be needed.?

I’m not happy about the fact that she is on pain medication on a daily basis for years because of her feet / legs. You should have her checked by a doctor, preferably by a pediatrician or a pediatric surgeon. Most children’s foot and leg problems can be treated without medicines, the most important thing is to arrive at a diagnosis, which I cannot do without examining the child.
