Exercise Make my Daughter’s Face Red Hot

KID’S HEALTH
My daughter is 10 years old and a little over weight. When she exercises or plays sports and she gets hot, her face turns really really red. What is this and do I need to be alarmed or should I take her to her doctor?

It does not sound alarming. Perhaps the child is overexerting herself. If you are concerned, call your family physician and discuss the problem.
