Dr. Joshua’s Answer:

You may be suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder. We all have it to some extent, but when it starts interfering with normal life, treatment may be indicated. I recommend you see a psychiatrist, discuss your problem, ask about obsessive compulsive disorder. Treatment with SSRIs (serotonin medication) may be beneficial for you. If you can’t get to a psychiatrist, a general practitioner can also help.
