Tick Bite

i was doing my work on the computer as i do every day. my arm wrist was hurting. the more i used the mouse i noteced it more. my fingers were tingling then got a numing and hurting effict. my fingers on my right had got really cold. after several hours it got worse, i went to another room to look at my arm and discovered a tick. i removed it. i am still having some cold and numing in my fingers and the sever pain is gone but a little remains after about six hours. is this normal for a tick bite. ticks in my area are common but i wanted to make sure this reaction does not need to be a concearn. i know to watch for the red ring so it does not get big, but was conserned with the numming and tingling in my fingers. the tick was on the middle of my arm. i would really appreciate it if you could answer. thank you

?

Dr. Joshua’s Answer:

If you suspect the tick has been in place for more than 24 hours, or if you get the red ring, or the symptoms persist, you need antibiotic treatment. Talk to your doctor.?
